Questions and answers
How does saving work?
Your meadow saves itself in this browser on this device: every 10 seconds while you play, and when you leave the page. There is no account and no cloud save. Clearing this website's data in your browser, or playing in a private window, removes the meadow.
What is a save code?
A save code is a backup of your meadow as text (it starts with FM1-). In the game, open Settings → Copy save code and keep it somewhere safe, for example in a note on your device. To bring the meadow back, here or on another device, open Settings → Load save code…. Never send your save code to anyone, including us: we never need it.
My meadow disappeared on iPhone or iPad
Safari on iPhone and iPad may delete a website's saved data when the site has not been opened for about 7 days. Play at least once a week, and copy your save code now and then (Settings → Copy save code), so you can load it again if this happens.
Sound and music
The speaker button at the top of the game switches all sound off or on. Settings → Sound & music… has separate switches and volume sliders for sound effects and music. The music starts when you first pat the meadow. On a phone, also check the phone's own volume and silent switch.
The game feels slow
Close other tabs and apps, and make sure your browser is up to date. If your device has a "reduce motion" setting, the game uses calmer animations when it is on. You don't need to keep the game open: when you come back, your Bolts have gathered Glow while you were away (up to 8 hours; the Long Naps perk makes it longer).
How does Replant work?
Replant the Meadow starts a fresh run and gives you Seeds. It becomes available after you invite Starhorn (or gather lots of Glow) in a run. The more Glow you have gathered in total, the more Seeds you get, so waiting longer is never a loss.
Replant resets Glow, Bolts, upgrades, Puffs and homes. You keep your Seeds, perks, helpers, milestones, friendships, Finds, ribbons, style and lifetime totals. Every free Seed makes all Glow grow faster; you can also plant Seeds into perks and helpers.
How do I report a bug?
Use the Quick report below: anyone can send one, and there is no typing. You choose what happened, where in the game, and what you play on. We read every report and use them to fix bugs in the next update. We can't reply to a report, because we don't know who sent it.
What do you keep about me?
Nothing about you is needed to play: the game keeps your meadow on your device only. A quick report stores only the choices you picked (and the game version, if you tick that box), the day it was sent and whether we have looked at it. Our hosting service necessarily sees your connection's address (IP address) to deliver the pages; we don't store it. The full details are in the privacy notice.
The Support Center is closed right now. The questions and answers above still work. Please try again later.
Thank you! Your report was sent.
Reference:
You don't need to keep it. It is not stored on this device, and nobody can look up a report with it.
What we keep
Reports are anonymous. A report keeps only the choices you picked, the game version (only if you tick that box), the day it was sent (not the time) and whether we have looked at it. No IP address, name, email, account or device code, and nothing is saved on your device. A report is deleted 60 days after the day it was sent. Details: privacy notice.
